We need unity as a party. We need unity to win this election. It may be trite to say, but together, we are strong, and together, we can't be stopped.

The Republican party is in absolute freefall, and they know it. They could easily be thinking their only prayer to hold onto the Presidency at this point is to try to get a wedge into the Dem party constituencies. I guarantee you, every time someone says, "If X wins, I'll vote for McCain", some Republican operative gets their wings.

I'm almost sorry to be an Obama supporter here, because it would be a lot easier to advocate unity as a Clinton supporter, but it's true. We can't win without each other. Clinton supporters - and quite possibly Clinton herself - are absolutely essential to victory in November, even if Obama is the nominee.
